Give a Better Way Campaign
The Alachua County Coalition for the Homeless and Hungry has partnered with the City of Gainesville to establish the Give a Better Way! program. The purpose of the campaign is to allow people to donate spare change and larger donations to benefit the homeless in our community. Donations are collected and distributed by ACCHH to its member agencies which provide Gainesville's homeless with food, shelter, and other needs.
The City has installed donation meters in downtown and midtown Gainesville. The green and blue meters look like parking meters and donations can be made right on the spot. Please visit the website for Give a Better Way! for the locations of the meters and to make online donations to ACCHH.
