Faces of Grace

Did You Know...?

This year marks the third in a row that the Alachua County Jail housed more homeless individuals during the survey (115) than any single homeless housing program.

What is the Faces of GRACE?

The Faces of GRACE Speaker's Bureau provides experts in the field of homelessness - homeless people themselves - to area churches, schools and civic organizations looking to learn more about the issue. In partnership with the National Coalition for the Homeless, the program offers a glimpse of the people behind the statistics, and their stories, struggles and successes.

Request a Speaker

To have someone from the Office on Homelessness speak to your organization, church, class or other group about homelessness in Alachua County, please call (352) 372-2549 and ask for Jon DeCarmine.

We are pleased to announce that beginning in January 2008, the Office on Homelessness, in partnership with the National Coalition for the Homeless and the AmeriCorps VISTA program, we will be offering presentations from our own local Faces of Homelessness panel.
